• Specifying a minimum UL 2218 Class 4 impact-resistant shingle standard for all high-hail residential developments.
• Installing 24-gauge standing seam metal roof systems with concealed fasteners to guarantee long-term wind resistance and leak-free performance.
• Using certified primary products exclusively from premium industry-leading manufacturers such as CertainTeed, GAF, and Owens Corning.

Recognizing the intense wind loads, severe storms, and extreme thermal cycles of the Texas environment, members pledge to execute thorough substrate preparation:

• Prohibiting standard felt underlayment in favor of high-performance tear-resistant synthetic underlayments across the full deck.
• Installing self-adhering ice-and-water leak barriers along all eaves, valleys, and vulnerable flashing zones.
• Conducting meticulous board-by-board decking checks during tear-off to identify rot, delamination, or improper spacing, replacing all compromised wood before installing underlayment.

Contractors operate as guests on client properties. Work crews are committed to respecting residential environments across all Texas chapters:

• Using high-strength tarps and catch-all systems to protect landscaping, flower beds, and siding from falling tear-off debris.
• Striving to maintain clean work environments, collecting roofing nails using magnetic sweepers from lawns, driveways, and walkways daily.
• Working to protect HVAC units, pool equipment, and property gates in coordination with Texas 811 limits.

Members pledge to operate within proper legal frameworks by checking city permits, coordinating required municipal inspections, and aligning roof finishes and materials to match local HOA guidelines prior to starting work.
